Are you looking for an Operating Agreement for your Florida LLC? If yes, then you have come to the right place. On this page, we’ve shared a generic operating agreement template which you can use and modify as per your business needs.
Why you MUST draft an Operating Agreement
An operating agreement is a very important document for your LLC. It lays down a formal contract between the co-owners on how the business will be operated and how the financial aspects will be handled. It is an internal business document and it need not be filed anywhere.
As per Florida state laws (§ 605.0105), it’s not mandatory to have such agreement in place. But having an operating agreement can save you from future troubles which may arise due to financial or work-related matters.
Registering an LLC does not automatically means that the member(s) are not liable for the losses or liability of the business. Florida LLC member(s) must stick to having an operating agreement right from day one of starting the business. A formal operating agreement can shield the members from any liability incurred due to the business operation.
On this page, we’ve shared a generic operating agreement template. We encourage you to consult a CPA or an attorney before executing this agreement.
